Santa Ride 18th December in Aid of Little Miracles
After reviewing the weather outlook for the weekend, it is with regret that we have decided to postpone the Santa Ride planned for Sunday. The forecast is for below-freezing conditions in the morning and a strong possibility of freezing rain or snow.
We will reschedule for the Spring of 2023. We already have a couple of ideas on the drawing board to make it very sociable with a pit stop mid-way (with food and drink) allowing riders taking part to catch up and enjoy the event. - We will keep you posted.
To all those that took the trouble to donate on behalf of Little Miracles can we thank you for your support and amazing generosity. Your contributions will help the charity at the festive time of year and allow them to put them to good use in the great work they do.
We had received donations of Mince Pies from the Co-Op in Yaxley which we had planned to provide riders at the presentation of the bikes in Holme village hall. These will now be donated to the Little Miracles who will be able to use them for the food parcels they prepare.
The final figure for donation looks to be heading towards £300, but we are not quite there yet - So if anyone was hoping to donate on the day and would like to help us now push the number up to £300 that would be great, as we are currently at £267. The link will stay active for the next 4 days only so if you can help, please see below:

All those riders that have donated will be mentioned in our Christmas Card to the Charity.
Early next week we will be taking the 5 bikes we have waiting to be delivered to the Charity so they will have them ahead of the Christmas break and hopefully will be able to find new owners for them before 25th December. That will take the total number of bikes donated to over 35 which is amazing considering we launched this program in May this year. That averages out to 1 bike per week, something we can all be very proud of.
