Leighton Primary School Orton Malborne had heard of the work we have been doing with the bike donation initiative. The school had historically been helped with its Christmas program by a large national cycle retailer, however this year the retailer was unable to assist.

After some discussions with the school, we went to work to make sure we could support them at this special time of the year.

From our conversation with the school we were able to source two bikes we knew would fit the brief, they were cleaned and prepared so that Dan and Paul at Peterborough Cycle Hub could fast-track the bikes through the safety checks

Two weeks ahead of the Christmas deadline, we presented the two bikes to Emma Ward (head teacher) and her dedicated team of learning professionals well ahead of the Christmas break. They recorded a “Thank You” on behalf of the school below.
